网讯 近日，由迈克·弗拉纳根（《鬼入侵》《鬼遮眼》）导演并编剧的新版《驱魔人》电影正式定档，将于2026年3月13日北美上映。
前作《驱魔人：信徒》由大卫·戈登·格林执导，该片全球票房达1.36亿美元，但出品方拿下此系列版权花费了约4亿美元，原计划打造三部曲，但由于该片亏损太多，原定的新系列第二部《驱魔人：欺诈者》遭遇撤档，导演大卫·戈登·格林退出。《驱魔人》电影被交由迈克·弗拉纳根接手。据悉，新片将不是之前任何一部驱魔人电影的续集，将为该系列电影开辟新的道路。
《驱魔人》系列起始于1973年，该片改编自威廉·彼得·布拉蒂的同名畅销书，并成为第一部获得最佳影片提名的恐怖片。
