电影《异形：夺命舰》将是《异形》系列的正统续集，故事发生在《异形》和《异形2》之间，将会扩充全系列的故事线索。该片由费德·阿尔瓦雷兹（《屏住呼吸》）编剧并导演，卡莉·史派妮（《环太平洋2》）、伊莎贝拉·莫塞德、爱玲·吴、阿奇·雷诺、戴维·荣松、斯派克·费恩等出演，雷德利·斯科特担任制片人，将于8月16日北美上映，内地档期未定。
