《隔壁房间》是佩德罗·阿莫多瓦继2021年《平行母亲》后的又一力作，影片由蒂尔达·斯文顿、朱丽安·摩尔主演，讲述了因一场误会导致母亲与女儿的关系破裂，母亲的朋友目睹了这对母女的痛苦与裂痕。蒂尔达·斯文顿饰演的母亲是一位战地记者，朱丽安·摩尔则饰演她的朋友，是一位自传小说作家。
据悉，第81届威尼斯电影节将于8月28日至9月7日举行，完整嘉宾阵容将于7月23日公布。
