本剧改编自野田悟所作同名漫画，讲述了被冠以“不死之身杉元”之名的原军人杉元佐一与阿依努族少女阿希莉帕一起在昔日淘金热潮盛行的北海道四处冒险、寻找金块的故事。在本剧中，追捕身上带有指示金块位置密码的刺青囚犯的行动正式开始，金块之旅进入了一个新阶段，囚犯们的过去和信仰也随之揭开。
本剧由山崎贤人主演，山田杏奈、真荣田乡敦、矢本悠马、工藤阿须加等出演，将于10月6日起在日本WOWOW台播出。
