在《无名之辈2》中，导演饶晓志将继续讲述关于小人物的故事，小厂主老闻的货款被南美某国客商卷走潜逃，他决心再也不跟那里的人做生意。不料神秘的订单又从同一个地方发过来，掀起了一场让老闻的生活和半个地球都卷入其中的风暴。
《无名之辈2》片方曾于3月14日发布了一张概念海报，海报中的子弹、地球等元素曾引发影迷们的关注。影片前作《无名之辈》曾获得7.94亿的票房成绩。
