网讯3月29日，中国电影导演协会发布唁电，“惊悉谢铜导演于2023年3月29日凌晨3点51分在北京因胰腺癌去世，协会同仁万分悲痛。谨此向谢铜导演表示沉痛哀悼，并向家属表示诚挚的慰问。”
谢铜导演是中国电影家协会会员，中国电影导演协会会员，中国电视剧委员会委员。生前曾拍摄电影《高天厚土》《乒乓小子》《花香岁月》等，其作品《乒乓小子》曾获十六大优秀献礼片，《高天厚土》获得“陕西省五个一工程奖”。
