同时，张艺谋还透露，他将于9月份参与制作电竞题材网剧《英雄联盟》，这是张艺谋的第一部网剧作品，他表示，想拍一个和以往不同风格、反差大的作品，并希望这部剧能够很帅、很酷、很飒。在早前公布的信息中，张艺谋是担任该剧的监制，暂不确定后续是否会参与执导。
