预告中曝光的动作戏将期待值拉满，特效画面也相较第一季有大幅提升！尤其是预告结尾，李栋旭解锁的全新九尾狐造型，黑衣长发，身后摇曳的红色狐尾，让人忍不住高喊：战力全开的山神大人，好帅！
该剧由《九尾狐传》姜信孝、赵南亨导演，韩友利编剧，第二季讲述九尾狐李砚卷入突发事件，迫降到1930年代。而好不容易与他修复了关系的弟弟李郎（金汎 饰）也被召唤到1938年，兄弟二人关系再次恶化。
