《功夫熊猫4》讲述阿宝离开和平谷，前往大城市，寻找下一位“神龙大侠”，反派为变色龙女巫，她召唤出了阿宝过去所有的敌人，阿宝必须打败他们。
《功夫熊猫》首部电影于2008年推出，入围了奥斯卡金像奖与金球奖，第二部和第三部分别于2011年和2016年上映，《功夫熊猫》系列电影全球累计票房超18亿美元，深受外国观众喜爱，并掀起中国功夫热潮。随后，也衍生出一系列剧集、游戏、主题公园等等。
