本片讲述闪电侠巴里使用超能力回到过去，想要改变已发生的事件，却冲击了时空秩序。当他试图拯救家人时，不小心改变了未来，受困于另一个时空中……
演职员方面，埃兹拉·米勒继续饰演闪电侠，迈克尔·基顿和本·阿弗莱克版的两个蝙蝠侠客串，萨莎·卡列新加盟饰演的超女也将亮相，科雷西·克莱门斯饰演巴里爱慕对象艾瑞斯，玛丽维尔·贝尔杜饰演巴里的母亲，朗·里维斯顿饰演巴里的父亲，伊恩·洛饰演幼年巴里，西尔莎-莫妮卡·杰克逊、鲁迪·曼卡索等出演。该片将于6月16日在中国内地上映。
