本剧改编自埃德加·爱伦·坡的经典同名短篇小说，共8集。由“恐怖片专业户”迈克·弗拉纳根执导，他导演的《鬼入侵》《午夜弥撒》《睡梦医生》等作品都备受恐怖片爱好者好评。
《厄舍府的崩塌》讲述冷酷无情的兄妹将一家制药公司打造成了充满财富和特权的帝国，但随着家族公司继承人从年轻时起陆续死于一位神秘女子之手，过去的秘密逐渐浮出水面。
