对于拍摄规模宏大的《沙丘2》，奥斯汀·巴特勒说：“《沙丘》非常有趣，因为我与丹尼斯相处得很好，我们开始谈论角色。当时，我们甚至还没有剧本，但在我们谈论费德时，我的想象力开始激发，我开始感到挑战的恐惧。”
《沙丘2》延续了前作的班底，继续由丹尼斯·维伦纽瓦执导，汉斯·季默配乐，提莫西·查拉梅、赞达亚、丽贝卡·弗格森等演员回归，将于2024年3月15日在北美上映。
