据悉，佩德罗·帕斯卡出演过《曼达洛人》《权力的游戏》《最后生还者》高口碑等热门剧集，三度获得艾美奖提名。目前佩德罗手头上的项目很多，包括雷德利·斯科特新片《角斗士2》、《最后生还者》第二季、扎克·克雷格执导新片《武器》等，能否顺利加盟的一大因素在于他的档期安排。

新版《神奇四侠》由马特·沙克曼执导，编剧组合杰夫·卡普兰和伊恩·斯普林格负责剧本，凯文·费奇曾表示本片将会成为未来漫威电影宇宙的主打。
