该剧根据雷克·莱尔顿所著波西·杰克逊奇幻系列小说改编，剧集基于小说第一部《波西·杰克逊与神火之盗》创作。与电影版不同的是，这次选用了全新的演员阵容，第一季共8集，将于2023年12月20日在Disney 首播，首周上线将播出两集，之后每周播出一集。
