活动现场，不仅播放了保罗第一次尝试骑沙虫的正片片段，沙丘星球的浩瀚和驾驭沙虫的惊险景象也令人震撼。不过主创在台上合影时却发生了意外，皮尤被台下观众投掷东西，砸中眼睛。目前此事前因后果尚不清楚，多家媒体已联系各方，尚未得到确切回应。有网友称曾有观众被告知不要朝台上扔杂物，但仍发生了此事，现场主持人也发出了呵斥。
