而谈到《沙丘3》的进展时，维伦纽瓦则幽默表示“现在纸上已经有一些字了”。同时维伦纽瓦也分享了他对这部科幻史诗系列电影第三部的希望，他说:“成功拍出三部曲，那将会是我的梦想。”
