《新蝙蝠侠》衍生剧《企鹅人》讲述企鹅人奥斯瓦尔德·契斯特菲尔德·科波特在哥谭市黑社会的崛起。克里斯汀·米利欧缇加盟，饰演索菲亚·法尔科内，是《新蝙蝠侠》中约翰·特托罗饰演的反派卡迈恩·法尔科内的女儿，将与企鹅人一起，争夺哥谭市的控制权。
主创阵容方面，克雷格·卓贝执导前两集并担任执行制作人。劳伦·莱弗朗茨担任编剧兼运作人，法瑞尔和电影导演马特·里夫斯、制片人迪伦·克拉克等也担任执行制作人。
