剧情介绍
在解放初期，一批青年人响应祖国的召唤，前往西北边疆开垦荒地。刘海英是其中一个比较年轻的成员，她的父亲早在她还是个孩子的时候就被国民党反动派杀害，但父亲给她灌输了革命思想，培养了她勇敢的意志和对革命事业的热爱。海英在劳动中表现得很好，吃苦耐劳、充满热情。由于她努力学习业务，很快就学会了开拖拉机。有一天，她正在田间开拖拉机工作，突然发现有一个孩子落水了，她毫不犹豫地跳下水去救那个孩子。但因为在寒水中浸泡，她原有的关节炎和中耳炎重新发作，只能痛苦地离开了工作岗位…… 展开全部
